Interlocking Floor Tiles Installation Instructions.

Have you ever put the pieces of a puzzle together?

Installing our rubber interlocking tiles is about the same as putting a puzzle together without all the time spent looking for the pieces.

You simply start in the center of the room or along a wall and start snapping them together. No glue or adhesive is needed. You simply loose, lay them on the floor, and you are done.

How are they installed?

Interlocking tiles can be installed in multiple ways, either an “area rug” style installation, or a “wall-to-wall” installation. It all depends on what you would like best for your gym.

Area Rug installation.

This type of installation is when you do not want to cover the entire floor with recycled rubber flooring tiles. But, you are interested in covering a designated area.

For example, your gym has existing hardwood floors, and you want to show the natural beauty of the floors while protecting it at the same time.

You would lay our interlocking tiles under the fitness equipment (locking the pieces together) using the needed corners, borders, and center tiles. Using these tiles you can create almost any size that you need. The possibilities are virtually endless.

Wall-to-wall installation.

For a wall-to-wall installation, you are laying the tiles to cover 100% of the room’s floor. Depending on the size of the room (and how square it is) will help you determine if you start along a wall or in the center of the room.

If you have a smaller room, you can start along a wall using border tiles, along with two corner tiles appropriately placed.

When the first row completed, start on the subsequent rows using center tiles first, using border tiles to finish each row.

Continue this process until you reach your last row, determine if the tiles will fit or if they need to be trimmed. If they need to be trimmed, please see below.
